Posted January 05, 2019 14:38:16As a newborn baby, you are in for a whirlwind year.
A new calendar, new baby clothes, new diapers, new toys and a whole new life.
But the new year will also be a busy one for you.
“You are going to be spending a lot of time with your family,” says Dr. Anne Ciminelli, M.D., a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Toronto and a breastfeeding expert.
Ciminelli says that babies are the perfect time to have baby showers, too.
“[Baby showers] are really, really important.
It is really important to start bonding, and then you need to do a lot for the baby to be happy.”
So how should you prepare for a baby shower?
First, make sure that you have a plan for when you are at the house.
The baby shower is usually when babies are born, so you want to plan ahead for that time, Cimini says.
“When you go into a baby nursery, they can be pretty chaotic and not everyone wants to go in there,” she says.
So, instead of taking your time, plan your time.
You want to have a baby dresser with baby wipes, so that you don’t have to worry about baby wipes getting wet.
You also want to make sure you have your baby’s favorite toys, so they can play with them while you are waiting.
And, if you have to have your hair cut, you want the right scissors.
“It’s important to have scissors to cut your hair and a hairbrush,” says Cimino.
“A lot of babies prefer to be able to brush their own hair.”
She says it’s a good idea to have something for your baby to do while you wait for the shower.
“You want to be at home with your baby.
You don’t want to go out and be outside in the cold weather,” she advises.
You can also choose to go to the baby shower with your mom or stepmom, and take advantage of a baby break.
If you are taking a break, take advantage by having a bath and/or bath towels for your little one.
And, if the weather is good, you can take your time in the kitchen or the bathroom.
For the best experience, make your plan ahead and put it in writing.
For example, CIMINI says that if you are expecting a baby in March, you should plan for a shower when you go to work, and make your baby shower plan so that it is updated as soon as the baby arrives.
“Make sure you’re aware of all the new things, so your plan is updated when you’re home,” she explains.
“This will help you be as comfortable as possible.”
To keep your plan updated, make a list of things that you want baby to see and touch.
And if you feel overwhelmed, make it a habit to put things on your calendar to keep your baby up to date on what is going on in the world.
Another option is to have the baby’s nursery.
The best nursery experience is one where you and your baby are both together, and the staff are just there for you and you are free to get up and go to your baby if you need help.
But, if your baby is in the nursery, be sure that there is a babysitter available, says Cinino.
If you have no other choice, consider having a baby play in the baby room.
“That’s really important,” she recommends.
“If your baby goes into the baby nursery and there is no babysitter, then your baby will have a lot more time to play.
That’s when you really need to pay attention to the babies needs and what’s going on.”
Baby showers are also great for getting ready for the new school year, says Dr .
Jodi Goss, Ph.
D. “Baby showers give babies a sense of being cared for by family,” she writes.
“They are a way for parents to get their babies to stay connected and have a good bonding experience.”
